Before choosing a therapist, it helps to get a sense of the person you will be speaking with. I’m Mark Colclough, and I work with individuals and couples online.
I bring curiosity, directness and attention to the feelings beneath familiar patterns. Whether you are coming alone or together, we begin with what matters to you.
You do not need a complete explanation of what is wrong. We can start with a conversation, clarify what you need and agree a way forward together.
STEP 1
Send a brief message or request a call. Tell me what you are looking for and where you are based.
STEP 2
A free discovery call gives you space to ask questions and consider whether we are a good fit.
STEP 3
We discuss your priorities, the format and a realistic starting pace for our work.
STEP 4
Join from a private place for your online sessions. We review how the work is helping as we go.
Leave your details and a brief outline of what you would like to discuss. I will contact you as soon as I can.
Please keep sensitive therapeutic details for our conversation.
Your enquiry is handled confidentially. Please avoid sending detailed or highly sensitive clinical information through this form. Read the privacy policy for information about how your details are processed.
We begin with what brought you to therapy and what you hope might change. There is room to explain things in your own words and ask about how I work.
A 1-hour appointment reserves 60 minutes and includes 50 minutes of therapy. A 2-hour appointment reserves 120 minutes and includes 1 hour 45 minutes of therapy.
Choose a private place and a reliable connection for Zoom or, where agreed, WhatsApp audio.

These reviews come from clients of my practice who chose to share their experience on Google. An independent review service displays them here. They reflect individual experiences across my work, rather than a promise about what therapy will achieve for you.
If you would like to hear about the newsletter, leave your email address. You can ask about reflections on relationships, emotional patterns and everyday life.
I’m Mark Colclough, MA, a psychotherapist and couples therapist. I first worked with a client in October 2004. Born in London and raised in English and Danish cultures, I have lived and worked in nine countries.
I offer online psychotherapy and online couples therapy in English. My work is informed by psychosynthesis, emotion-focused therapy and attachment theory, alongside regular clinical supervision.
We look carefully at emotional difficulties and repeated patterns, at a pace that allows you to engage with them. Read more about my background and training.
